I've been taking pictures since I was little, using disposables to photograph toys and borrowing my mom's camera on vacations to shoot pictures of the scenery. I still love taking pictures of the scenery but my love for photography has progressed to my career in photojournalism.
I graduated from Ohio University’s School of Visual Communication in 2020 with a degree in photojournalism and a certificate in social media. I currently work for the Sun Herald in Biloxi, Mississippi — a McClatchy newsroom. My work has appeared in publications such as ProPublica, the Associated Press, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, the Cincinnati Enquirer, The Press Enterprise, The Virginian-Pilot, USA Today, and MSN among others. I am available for freelance work, portraits, wedding photography, etc.
